The Northville Republicans Club and Plymouth Canton Republicans Clubs are happy to announce that Doug Lloyd, candidate for Michigan Attorney General, will be speaking at our 2025 Member Appreciation and Membership Drive Dinner.
In 2013, Doug was appointed Eaton County Prosecuting Attorney by Circuit Court Judges Janice K. Cunningham and Jeffrey L. Sauter. He later won the county’s first contested Prosecutor’s race since 1972. His record includes prosecuting and securing convictions in cases involving murder, rape, armed robbery, and drug trafficking, while also building a nationally recognized Economic Crimes Unit and expanding access to innovative specialty courts that give offenders a second chance when appropriate. Prior to being named Prosecutor in June 2013, Lloyd served as Assistant Prosecutor, Senior Assistant Prosecutor for the Economic Crimes Unit, and Chief Assistant Prosecutor.
In 2013, Lloyd was appointed by Governor Snyder to the Organized Retail Fraud Advisory Board. He also served on the Insurance Fraud Task Force launched in September 2013 by Secretary of State Ruth Johnson. Lloyd has also been confirmed by the Michigan Legislature to serve on the State Drug Treatment Court Advisory Committee. Lloyd is a Past President for the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan.
Doug is the proud father of two sons, Matthew and Nicolas, both have which have graduated from MSU, and has been married to his wife Mina, a recently retired Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office, for 30 years. They reside in Delta Township.
Come out and meet Doug, and learn his plan to replace the disastrous and corrupt reign of Dana Nessel.
The event will be held Wednesday, December 3rd, at 7pm, at Phoenix Mill Events, located at 15000 Edward N. Hines Drive, Plymouth, MI. Tickets are $40 for non-members (only $10 if you become a member!) and include dinner, drinks, and dessert. All donations are private.
